A new version of the prostitute with a golden heart,
who was just a fool(ed)
who became crafty in pain.
She is wonderful ( Magnani ).
The ending just left me breathless.
FANTASTIC and so REALISTIC.

Don't ask me why. On christmas night i had the solid intuition that my best friend (i should say my partner in dullness) slept with my boyfriend. I LOVED him. I loved him so much that even when he broke up with me (for I had to leave the country to go to school - Brown University - Providence - could you dream of a better school, in a better place, with a better name), even when he broke up with me, I was sad but I was so happy (i mean I was not so sad), just because I had a chance to be thus in love with somebody. I was litterally in grâce for about one year. Power and flowers.

Now all of a sudden and in the middle of the night, I came to remember all these times when my man wasn't home and I try to hang out with my girlfriend and she isn't reachable either... I rang the bell, i called on the phone but got no answers whatsoever. Sometimes i'd wait for her at the door and hear some noise in the appartement. I remember that she would never support me when he was being a total dick with me. And that she played him guitar tunes she had made up and sometimes improvised for us like she's possesed or she's some kind of wicked muse. Worst of all, my boyfriend who was a c-r-a-f-t-y bastard was like : "hell no! Check this out. Ain't she giving me these honey smiles all the time? I'm telling you! What is she looking for?" And I-and-I was the one who said : "come on, you must be mistaking !.." And I have an idea that he told her thet he D-I-D tell me so, and that S-T-I-L-L, it wouldn't ring my bell. HaHA HA !!! H-A! So they could be cool. It didn't ring my bell at all.

This and so many other episodes, like this time when we were, her and i sitting in a couch at my boyfriend's place. One guy was standing there, hanging around and we were waiting for this piece of shit to come back home. Carefull : he had set up the perfect psychodrama conference. This guy kept telling us : "I like Stephane. You can definitely trust him for drugs... Uh yeah. He wouldn't sell anybody and he can keep his mouth shut. But the one thing I wouldn't trust him... is if I was a girl. I would be really scared with AIDS. And stuff like that. " I became really interested especially since this dude apparently wasn't aware that i was supposed to be his girl friend. Then I was teasing him to tell me more. And my witchy girl friend was like, pretentedly to reassure me : "MAIS NON, MAIS NON.... allons, allons.... ce n'est pas réel...." and he was unabled to phrase one sentence up to the end.

When i was left alone with my lousy boyfriend i remember telling him that I would have been really interested in knowing what, let's say, "Josh", had to say about him freaking out with girls all the time. But i didn't have a chance to hear it because Virginie (all the girls who were called Virginie that I ever knew were the dirtiest bitch on earth - that's why I don't want to call my daughter Zoe : in case she dies - Zoe means "life" in greek), Virgin was playing mother "Come on, Ay ay ay" playing it wise all the fucking time, and i couldn't f)u)c)k)i)n)g hear it. I still remember, although it didn't strike me then, he grinned for himself. And I thought he smiled sympathetically. You want to know the truth ? But you probably got it straight, right away.

To entertain his friend, junkie humor style, he told him : "if you really want to see two good friends fighting to death just tell'em i like to fool around. I slept with them both but when they realise, they will devastate the place. I don't want to be around. So stand up for me, and enjoy it..."
One time we were sitting together : him, her and I. Proposed to quickly go to my place to get this amazing movie so that we could watch it together, giving them a chance to make a quickie in my back. A little thrill. My inconséquence really freacked the boy off. And finally when I came back, SHE was pissed cause he'd avoided her.

Sometimes I remember I told my friend: "don't you ever go out wuth a junk-head..!"
And she laughs at me, like she thinks ; "I"m not THAT stupid".
Let me tell you one : you might have been in love with a machiavelic, junk-head, thief, phrasemaker, terrorist...
You probably have been fooled.
But if you're going to betray your friend and live with it, just to be able to screw with that type of guy... il faut vraiment avoir faim.
